These are the standard terms for working with Tinyvation Inc. Each engagement also gets its own one-page scope of work; where the two differ, the signed scope wins.

Scope and estimates

Every engagement starts with a written scope: the work, an hour range, a price cap, and a delivery date. Hours are billed as actuals and never beyond the cap without your written approval. If the work changes mid-build, we pause and re-quote the difference before continuing.

Rates and payment

Our rate is $150 per hour, in Canadian dollars, for all services. Block-hour purchases are paid up front and the hours never expire. Larger project scopes are split 50% on signature and 50% on delivery. Invoices are due within 15 days. Canadian clients are charged GST/HST by province; clients outside Canada are not charged GST/HST.

Ownership

Everything we build inside your accounts is yours: configurations, automations, documentation, data and any code we write for you. We retain no license over your systems and hold nothing back at handoff. We may describe engagements in anonymized form for our own materials unless your scope says otherwise.

The 30-day window

Anything we built that fails within 30 days of handoff is fixed at no charge. Beyond that window, fixes are quoted like any other work. We do not offer refunds once delivery has started; the written scope, the hour cap and the 30-day window are the protections that stand in front of that policy.

What we need from you

Timely access to the systems named in the scope, a decision-maker who can answer questions within a business day or two, and accurate information about your tools and data. Delays on access push delivery dates by the same amount; they do not change the price.

Liability

We carry out the work with professional care and skill. Our total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for changes made to delivered systems by others after handoff. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ontario law.

Confidentiality

What we see inside your business stays inside your business, indefinitely, whether or not we sign a separate NDA. We are happy to sign yours before the first call. Our privacy practices are described in the privacy policy.

Ending an engagement

You can stop at any point. You pay only for hours worked, you keep everything built so far, and unused block hours remain yours to use later. We can end an engagement if invoices go unpaid or the work requested falls outside what we agreed; we will say so in writing with reasons.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Questions go to hello@tinyvation.com.
